Nanocellulose so called as CNF / NFC

Nanocellulose is a term referring to nanostructured cellulose which has a diameter of less than 100 nm. Nanocellulose has special properties such as lightweight, high strength, high crystallinity, high specific surface area, and biodegradable. These special features make nanocellulose very suitable as an additive in various industries such as plastics, composites, foods, cosmetics, health products, etc. Nanocellulose can be used to improve the properties of the products and replace the existing chemicals by improving the quality of materials.

This oil palm biomass nanocellulose / cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) has been given "NANOVerified" status, a certification by NanoVerify Sdn Bhd & approved by SIRIM QAS International to indicate the presence of nano-sized elements has been verified.

Paint Industry commonly facing challenges in cracking and flaking of paints, inadequate surface preparation when applying the paints to bare wood without first applying the primer, expensive raw material, and slow drying when using oil-based paints. We believe nanocellulose can facilitate progress in this area.
